A 13 year old boy caught the attention of George Natembeya, the regional commissioner of rift valley, while he was holding a meeting with the residents of Narok following the inter-community clashes in the area.
The boy was courageous enough to air his grievances to the county commissioner.
The teenage boy said that their house had been burnt and their maize farm had been slashed down.
This happened amidst the heavy presence of police that had been deployed in the area to maintain law and order.
I just came here to look after the cattle and as you can see, we have nowhere to go. Our house was burnt down, our maize farm was slashed by our neighbors , why did you allow this to happen?,”
the angry boy told Natembeya.
Natembeya cut the boy short before he finished talking, He claimed that he had previously seen the boy armed with an arrow in the inter-community clashes.
