Kenya has seen a surge in he number of coronavirus cases in the past few days.
Today, the numbe of confirmed cases are 62, bringing he total number of cases to 1348.
This was announced by the Health Chief Administrative Secretary Rashid Aman during the daily press briefing.
A total of 2293 samples had been tested in the last 24 hours.
59 of the confirmed cases are Kenyans while 3 are foreigners.
So far a total of 405 people have been discharged after three more tested negative twice.
Since the testing began, Kenya has so far tested 64,264 samples.
