Eight more people have been confirmed positive for the coronavirus in Kenya bringing the total to 216. These figures are as of 14th April as announced bu the Health Chief Administrative Secretary, Mercy Mwangangi.
6 of the confirmed cases have a travel history. They travelled from Dubai, Pakistan and Comoros while two were picked by the Health Ministry surveillance teams.
In terms of county, six are from Nairobi, one is from Siaya and one from Nakuru county.
One more person has recovered bringing the total number of recovered persons to 41.
The CAS also advised Kenyans to be vigilant as the virus is now spreading to other counties.
