Deputy president William Ruto is said to have made an impromptu visit to Jubilee Party Headquaters on Tuesday.
The visit to the Party Headquarters has left many speculating that the DP went to check the state of preparedness should the parliament be dissolved thereby leading to a by-election.
His director of communications, Emmanuel Talam, has however maintained that the DP was there to check on the progress of the party.
He went there in his capacity as the deputy party leader. He has an office there,
Tallam told the Star.

Politicians allied to the Deputy President opened another office in June and dubbed it Jubilee Asili saying that they had been denied resources at the Jubilee Headquarters.
In the past Ruto admitted that the Jubilee party has become dysfunctional and that it has been hijacked by cartels and busy bodies.
