Gladys Boss Shollei has voiced her opinion in regards to the Uhuruto merger.

As you might have clearly noticed, Ruto has been conspicuously missing from the public eye for sometime now indicating that all may not be well with his political ally Uhuru Kenyatta.

Gladys Shollei says that President Uhuru Kenyatta has shortchanged his deputy, William Ruto and he is aware of it.

“President Kenyatta entered an agreement with Jubilee supporters. We remember him saying kumi yangu na kumi ya Ruto, (I will serve for 10 years and then support Ruto to serve for a further 10 years),” said Shollei.

“(But Dr) Ruto is aware that he has been shortchanged. He is acutely aware and so are we (his supporters). Only that he is a gentleman.”

When the two came together, they had an agreement that they will work and support one another and their political bid was hat Ruto would support Uhuru for presidency for two terms – 10 years, after which Uhuru would now support Ruto for presidency for the next 10 years after his tenure.

The deal seemed good and the beginning of their leadership was rosy. Their chemistry however faded along the way leaving the public with a lot of speculation.

Ruto however still maintains that he will vie for the big seatt come 2022 when the general elections will be held.
