The Government has finally agreed to evacuate Kenyans who are stranded in China. Kenyans In China have been having it rough.
They were thrown out of their houses and forced to sleep on the streets in a claim that they were the ones responsible for the new wave of coronavirus infections that has emerged in China.
The helpless Kenyans shared their ordeals on social media which angered many but he government stood ground that it would not make sense to evacuate Kenyans back home.
They were also subjected to forced COVID-19 tests.
The Embassy however agreed to airlift them back home under specific conditions. First they should be coronavirus free, they should also file their details with the embassy and they will also cater for their expenses including air tickets.
Upon arrival in the country, they will need to quarantine for 14 days or even 28.
“However, they will incur so much, because remember after paying approximately $1,000 (Ksh 106,000) as air ticket, they will also have to quarantine for 14 days in Kenya upon landing. Or maybe even 28 days,” Reported Kenyans.co.ke

Kenyans had initially planned to hold a demonstration if their outcry would not be heard however some of them went missing.
Survival is hard for them owing to the fact that everything has hiked in prices and blacks ar also being denied access to transactions
