There are people who say that life is fate. That whatever happens to you is all controlled by fate. Then there are those who believe that whatever happens to you in life is a result of your actions. I believe both. We are a result of both fate and our actions also play a great part in the outcomes of our lives.
You cannot afford to just sit and wait for life to happen. You have to play your part in what you can control then leave what you can’t control to God.
Here are a few pointers to help you work towards a better life.

1. you are responsible for your life.

If anything has to move forward in your life you have to be responsible by making it happen. If you sit around waiting for someone to come and fix you of fix your life for you, you are wasting your time. Only you have the power to take responsibility to move your life forward. The sooner you get that the faster you get into the gear.

2. Believe In Yourself.

You are where you are in your life based on what you believe. It is your shadow beliefs that are holding you back from moving into the life that you believe you deserve. If you are not careful to look at the shadows in your subconscious mind that keep telling you that you are not good enough, you cannot make it. You will end up acting out of that belief system. The belief that you are not good enough. That will manifest in your life.

The moment you decide to look at things from a different perspective, you life will change. You will start taking up new challenges which you will soon discover are not as hard as you thought.

The choices that you have made have been because of what you believe to be true within yourself.

3. There are no Mistakes

There is a supreme moment of destiny calling on you. You have to feel, know and hear that. But sometimes when you are not listening you get offtrack. You get into the wrong relationship, the wrong job, the wrong marriage etc but they all lead into the same route. They are preparing you for what is ahead of you. There is no wrong route.

When you move in the wrong direction, it is an opportunity to learn. Failure makes you grow stronger. You learn from your loses as much as you learn from your victories.

When you fail, be still and ask what is he next right move. When you find the right move, follow it. Make the right move then the next. That is how you succeed.

4. You Can’t give what you don’t have

You have to keep yourself full. Work on yourself. Fill yourself up and keep your cup full. Only when you are full that’s when you get something to give.

5.Be grateful

Write the things that you are grateful for. Focus on the positives in your life. It will begin to change the perspective of your day and your life. Your mood will lighten up and you will attract positive energy. If you focus on what you don’t have you will never have enough.

6. You are the master of your destiny
You are the master of my fate. You are the captain of your soul. You are responsible for the choices that you make in your life. Be obedient to the call of the dream, the call that comes from within you. Find your purpose and pursue it. Don’t spend time wishing and hoping . You don’t get what you wish or hope for. You get what you believe and work for.

The biggest choices end and begin with you. Do your part and leave the rest to God. And when you have done the best you can and you can’t do any better turn it to God. Let Him take over.

So when I go to bed at night, I turn it all over to the Lord and forget it, I say Lord I did my best today. Now take over from here. – Harry Truman
