Sebastian Mikosz from Poland, the former CEO Kenya Airways, resigned three months after the proposal to take over Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by Kenya Airways was stopped by Members of Parliament.
Mr. Allan Kilavuka who is the current CEO of Jambojet has been appointed as acting Chief Executive Officer in place of Sebastian Mikosz.
Kenya Airways Board Of Members in a letter addressed to Nairobi Securities Exchange CEO Geoffrey Odundo, stated that Mr. Kilavuka’s appointment is effective 1st January 2020. He will serve in acting capacity until a new CEO is recruited.
Allan will also continue with his role as Chief Executive Officer of Jambojet during the recruitment period.
