Kenya Hits 5,384 COVID-19 Cases After Recording 178 New cases

The Ministry of Health has reported 178 new covid-19 cases raising the total tally to 5,384.

This is after testing 3,918 samples were tested in the last 24 hours making the total number of tested samples 155,314.

The Health Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) Mercy Mwangangi reported that 34 patients had recovered bringing the total number of recoveries to 1857.

Two people have however lost their lives raising the number of deaths to 132.

Nairobi had the most number of cases with 100 cases, Kajiado 21, Migori 17, Kiambu 16, Busia 8, Mombasa 7, Machakos 4, Nakuru 2, Uasin Gishu, Kericho, and Taita Taveta counties each recorded one case.
