Raila Odinga has granted Narok Senator, Ledama Ole Kina, a reprieve after directing the Orange Democratic Party to reverse the decision to dewhip him from senate committees.
The senator had filed a case against the party over the Senate County Public Accounts and Investment Committee (CPAIC) chairmanship.
Ledama paid Raila Odinga a courtesy call on Tuesday morning and agreed o withdraw the case.
According to the party leader, Ledama gave up his chairmanship of the CPAIC and apologized.
Due to this,Raila Odinga instructed the party to revese the decision to dewhip the senator.
James Orengo and Ledama had a stand off due to the dissatisfaction in the outcome of CPAIC election that were held earlier this month.
Orengo wrote a protest letter to express disatisfaction in the conduct and the outcome of elections which was dismissed by Ole Kina.
Ole Kina then went to the High Court where he was granted a temporary order barring ODM from removing him from the seat.
