Miguna Miguna is a man who is known to air out his views without fear of contradiction. After the general elections, Miguna Miguna was firm about his support for Raila Odinga. He was one of the people who were at the forefront in supporting the swearing in of the ‘People’s President’ , Right Hon.Raila Odinga.
The swearing in took place at Uhuru Park after the swearing in of President Uhuru Kenyatta. Raila Odinga’s supporters kept chanting ‘Wakiapisha tunaapisha’ meaning if they swear in we also swear in.
His outspoken nature and resilience earned him a detention at JKIA, his passport was perforated and he was deported to Canada on the basis that he was not a Kenyan Citizen . It was claimed that Miguna Miguna had denounced his kenyan citizenship and was now a canadian citizen.
