The Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga and the Deputy President William Ruto rarely see eye to eye.
Things even got worse after the famous handshake between Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta which took place on March 9th 2018 after the general elections that were held in 2017.
Friday the 20th presented an inevitable opportunity for he two rivals, Raila Odinga and William Ruto, to meet.

Both DP Ruto and Raila Odinga visited the Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju at his home in Karen and even took a group photo together.

It is reported that just as The Deputy President was leaving, Raila Odinga arrived. The two were seen exchanging greetings putting into consideration social distance in the wake of Coronavirus scare.
Raphael Tuju has been unwell since his involvement in a grisly accident at Magina area on his way to Kabarak to attend the late President Moi’s burial on February 12th.

Tuju was in a critical condition and was flown to Nairobi for treatment and later flown to the United Kingdom for specialized treatment. He broke 13 ribs, injured his intestines, and his lungs collapsed.
He is now recuperating at his home in Karen .
