James Oyugi, who was 59 years is believed to have died of COVID-19 while undergoing treatment at a local facility was hurriedly transported to his rural home and buried in a shallow grave at night.
This happened within 24 hours after he was reported dead. His family members were not given a chance to mourn him or give him a proper send off, neither was he put in a coffin. He was buried in a body bag.

The deceased was a former employee of Kenya Ports Authority (KPA). The Ministry of Health confirmed that his blood samples were taken to KEMRI laboratories in Kisumu where he was confirmed positive for COVID-19.
Earlier he had been involved in an accident near Awasi town where his car was written off , it is not clear if he indeed died due to COVID-19 or due to accident related complications.
The outspoken self proclaimed general, Dr. Miguna Miguna has however poked holes into the issue questioning if indeed James died of coronavirus. He also questioned which pathologist conducted an autopsy on him and where it was conducted.

Robert Alai on the other hand thinks that the death might have been due to murder and not coronavirus.
The Siaya case might be MURDER not Corona. The guy works at KPA with all the scandals. Guy was involved in an accident on the way home and his car written off. Guy went to the hospital at 10am, pronounced dead at 7pm and buried at 2am. Who tested him? MURDER!!
