A Silverstone Air plane has crashed at Wilson Airport shortly after taking off today.
The aircraft was headed to Lamu via Mombasa from Nairobi when it skidded off the runway.

Several passengers have sustained minor injuries and have been taken to hospital. No death has been reported.
We are still awaiting an official update from Silverstone.
Silverstone Air operates in six locations in Kenya: Mombasa, Kisumu, Malindi, Ukunda, Lamu and Lodwar.
