Siverstone Air has had another incident in less than a month.
One of the aircrafts operated by the local airline lost its wheel on take off.
According to the official statement issued by the airline, the dash 8 300 from Lodwar to Nairobi experienced an incident during take off and as a result, lost the number 3 wheel assembly.

The captain of the flight then diverted to Eldoret International Airport as a precautionary action and the aircraft landed safely.
The affected passengers were rebooked on a Skyward flight to Nairobi. The Kenya Civil Aviation has said it is carrying out an audit inspection on the airline to determine the level of compliance with the current Civil Aviation regulation.

On 11th of October 2019, one of the aircrafts belonging to the same company skidded off the runway at Wilson Airport though there was no deaths reported. Nine passengers sustained injuries and they were treated.
