Size 8 whose real name is Linet Munyali is a well known name in the entertainment industry.
Although she makes things look easy and seemless, the mother of two has a story to tell about her life and what it has taken for her to be where she is at the moment.
Size 8 c came to the lime light when she was still singing secular music.
She then gave her life to Christ and changed the genre of her music to Christian.
Through her story that was aired on NTV, the songbird confessed that though the world thought she had it all figured out while in the secular industry, she was actually sinking into depression.
In her performances, she was inspired by Wahu Kagwi and internationally Beyonce was her role model.
I used to work hard. Beyonce and Wahu Kagwi were my role models. I would check out Beyonce´s performances and get consumes like hers. If you compare my secular performances and Beyonce´s they were the same.
she said.
Although she was a secular artiste, she never used to take alcohol.
Her relationships were not working either and her circle of friends grew smaller.
I didn’t have real friends and I started becoming a person I didn´t really like. Remembering that happy girl who was in State House Girls so bubbly and I missed that born again girl – Linet Munyali. I just miss being loved for Linet and not for Size 8.
She confessed
She confided in her sister Mary and Sautisol’s Bienaime Baraza about her desire to give her life to God.
Bienaime did not understand why Size 8 was walking away from a brand she had bult through hard work and felt completely dissapointed by her.
I was so disappointed with her because I´ve never seen someone walk away from money. Ni kama alichukua million 50 akaflush down the toilet.
