For country music lovers, Kenny Rogers is one of the favourites. His death has therefore come as a blow as there will be no more melodious music from his husky voice.
Kenny who was aged 81 at the ime of his death is said to have died due to natural causes. He died surrounded by his family under the care of hospice.
Due to the emergency situation created by the outbreak of COVID-19 his family said they are planning a private service in honour of the musician. A public memorial will be planned at a later date.

Some of the songs that put Kenny on the world map are Coward of the county, Islands in the Stream, Lucille and the Gambler.
He also colaborated with other musicians including Lionel Richie and Dolly Parton.
Kenny was born on 21st August 1938 in Houston, Texas, United States. He laid to rest on March 20th 2020 at his home in Sandy Springs, Georgia

The musian who was also an actor was a superstar in the 70’s and 80’s, he won theree grammy awards and also starred in TV movies. His music sold tens of millions of records.
