When Kenyans went to the ballot in 2013 to elect their leaders, it was highly unlikely to the world that the Uhuruto pair would emerge as the winners. Owing to the fact that they had just been named as prime suspects in the 2007 post election violence, their win came as a joke to the world.

The prosecutor at the International Criminal Court (ICC) named Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto among the six prime suspects in the post election violence that happened in Kenya in 2007.

Despite this, the Uhuruto Duo won the general elections that were held in 2013. Uhuru Kenyatta being the president and William Ruto the Deputy President.

The initial agreement between the two was that once president Uhuru Kenyatta completed his term, he would then support William Ruto to vie for presidency in 2022.

So what would kenya look like with William Ruto as the president? Here is what kenyans on Twitter had to say:

Kenya under Ruto would fail.
Kenya under Raila would fail.
Kenya under Uhuru is failing.

Kenya failed under Jubilee.
Kenya is failing under the Handshake.
Kenya would fail under BBI.

Kenya needs new leaders.
Kenya needs new ideas.
Kenya news a rebirth.#KenyaUnderRuto

#KenyaUnderRuto would be a disaster for everyone. I mean, where else does a Deputy President publicly attack investigative agencies tasked with fighting corruption?🤷‍♂ pic.twitter.com/qau7EAgfmp

Dear Kenyans,

Ruto will make you his slave.
Raila already has slaves. He wants to enslave more people.
Uhuru has slaves who are trying to escape the plantation.

Kill BBI, resist Ruto, shun Raila & rebel against Uhuru. End political & economic slavery in Kenya.#KenyaUnderRuto

Ruto is the most hard working government servant. We are proud that our candidate 2022 has no one close to match. #KenyaUnderRuto pic.twitter.com/n226As9eBy

Supporting a thief is not only disloyalty to one's country but also betrayal to current and future generations. Wise Kenyans should wipe out Ruto from the presidential list. #KenyaUnderRuto
