It is common to get frustrated when God doesn’t seem to pay attention to your needs. There are times when you desperately want Him to intervene and come through for the bare necessities of life, what a father would give to his child.
When He seems silent, you begin to question if He indeed hears you. A cloud of doubt over His existence floods your thinking. You question if there is something you did wrong that may have warranted the suffering. Does He really love me? Does He care? You ask.
When all seems to work against you and God seems unavailable, do you trust in God’s plan or do you create a God who will fit in your plan?
There are situations and needs in life that only God can intervene. We may try all we can but our options can only stretch to a certain extent. Whenever you face affliction, feel tormented and broken down, you will definitely take it to him in prayer for He is the only source of strength and the answer you need. But His feedback is unknown. He can say Yes, Wait or No.
No one wants to take No for an answer, and especially when it comes from God. It means you have nowhere else to go. Little do we realize that a no from God could be the greatest gift we have ever received. It is always a blessing in disguise. You will never know how much trouble you have escaped when God denies your request. It is in these moments of weakness that we get the opportunity to experience God’s strength.
When we are in situations where He seems silent, we feel like He has left us, He doesn’t hear our prayers and He no longer cares about us. We tend to feel that God has changed. Truth is He never changes, our circumstances do change and when they do, our view of God changes.
You will hear and see the same God who seems silent to you doing great things for others. They will come and testify to you. Do not relent, for this same God who has done it for them knows what is best for you.
Any kind of answer you get from God matters but He may not answer the way you want. At times He is silent but he is never absent. He reigns and your faith should be based on Him and not in your own desires.
Trust Him regardless of the situation. He will come through for you at the right time.
